In The City For The City

 

In the city for the city,

 Jesus calls the Church today,

To lead people to deliverance,

 bringing all with in God’s way.

 

As the big fish swallowed Jonah,

 and returned him to God’s path.

So the Church is calling people,

saying serve the least the last.

 

Moses led the slaves to freedom,

God raised Jesus from the dead.

So God’s Church will serve the city,

For by Jesus are we led.

 

In the city for the city,
